WJA Duty Of Care

During these challenging times, WJA is committed to continuing to provide a safe and healthy environment for all event participants and staff. While WJA cannot guarantee that in-person attendees will not become infected with COVID-19, WJA has adopted preventative measures to reduce the potential spread of the COVID-19 virus at our in-person events in accordance with guidance provided by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control

In addition, WJA will comply with all applicable requirements imposed by federal, state, or local health authorities for the locality in which the event is taking place. All WJA event attendees are expected to also comply with all applicable requirements imposed by federal, state, or local health authorities for the locality in which the event is taking place.

You should not attend WJA events if you are experiencing, or within the 5 days prior to the event have experienced, symptoms associated with COVID-19. You also should not attend WJA events if you believe that you may have been exposed to a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 or have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and are not yet cleared as non-contagious by state or local public health authorities or the health care team responsible for your treatment.

Once on site, WJA requests that all event attendees regularly and thoroughly wash or sanitize their hands throughout the event, observe social distancing guidelines whenever possible, and strongly encourages the proper use of facial coverings during WJA events.
