Meeting new people and forming meaningful business relationships is the hallmark of the Women's Jewelry Association and its worldwide network of members.
The Women’s Executive Leadership Forum was developed in 2019 as a think-tank convening of women executive leaders in the jewelry and watch industry. The purpose is to network, find synergy across industry opportunities, and solve business challenges.
"It was an absolute privilege to attend my first WJA event this past spring, and I was truly impressed by the strength and impact of this remarkable organization. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed by a community of both familiar faces and new connections. Unlike many events I attend, this one fostered relationships that have proven to be both meaningful and invaluable. Inspired by this experience, I immediately became a member of WJA following the dinner.
Some notable examples of collaborations sparked by my involvement with WJA include:
- Coordinating a photo shoot featuring DeBeers jewelry with Coco Rocha, which was showcased in the summer issue of AC Magazine. We have even more stunning jewelry pieces scheduled to appear in the Fall issue.
- Participating as a panelist at the Luxury Summit after an introduction to Mickey Alam Khan.
- Engaging in follow-up meetings with several women I met at the dinner, each interaction further enriching our professional ties.
- Attending another WJA event during the JCK show in Las Vegas, where I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptionally high-quality presentations.
- Encouraging an executive from my team to join WJA, who has since attended regional events in Austin.
These examples are just a few of the many fruitful collaborations I've experienced. With the myriad demands on my time, I must be very selective about where I invest my efforts and resources. WJA has proven to be a priority organization for me moving forward."
