WJA Colorado Speed Mentoring Event


WJA Colorado is proud to present the chapter's first Speed Mentoring event on May 16th.  Come meet with industry professionals for one on one mentoring as it relates directly to your personal career goals.  Topics of expertise include design, custom, wholesale, retail, manufacturing, merchandising, buying, selling, marketing and more.

Todd Reed, Todd Reed,
Known for his take on Raw Elegance, Todd Reed was one of the first designers to use raw diamonds in their natural state in his designs, well before the the term alternative bridal was ever coined, essentially creating the category.  The entirety of the Todd Reed collection is hand made in his Boulder based studio and flagship showroom.  Tood Reed is sold in stores and galleries all across the country.  Come meet with Todd to learn more about design, wholesale, manufacturing, marketing and more.

Samantha Louise Larkins, Samantha Louise Designs, owner of Metalmark Fine Jewelry
Samantha Louise Larkins wears many hats.  She is the founder and designer of her own eponymouse jewelry collection, owner of a manufacturing studio based in Denver and also owner of the online and brick and mortar store Metalmark Fine Jewelry known for carrying local emerging designers as well as nationally renowned designers.  Samantha's expertise covers many areas including retail, wholesale, buying, manufacturing, custom, design and more.

Nan Palmer is owner and founder of FACEts Jewelry Consulting, a business-to-business consulting company for emerging and established designers alike as well as retailers and individual end clients.  Nan's vast experience in merchandising includes buying, product development, inventory management and financial planning.  Nan has over 17 years experience working with companies like Macy's, David Yurman and John Atencio.  Come meet with Nan to discover ways to grow your business using business analytics.

Please plan to arrive by 6:00pm to prepare, announcements to follow. The first Speed Mentoring appointments begin at 6:30pm sharp.  Each appointment will be 15 minutes in length with 5 minutes in between to change stations.  Time is limited, we must adhere to the schedule to ensure all appointments are met.  Choose up to 4 mentors to meet with upon RSVP.
