WJA NY Metro | Unconscious Bias Training Workshop: Part I

Over the course of two training sessions with LaTonya J. Pegues, CEO of BOAZ Enterprises, we will be guided through how to recognize our personal unconscious bias, its business and human impacts, and the sources of the attitudes that affect our judgments about others.

This training often leads participants in self-examination of the biases they may hold and the behaviors that can ensue, from microaggressions to adverse employment decisions.

LaTonya will provide robust tools that can help us reassert control over our thinking and make active choices about what we allow to influence our attitudes, behaviors, and decisions. LaTonya Pegues is known as, "The Unconscious Bias Trainer," she was a 2018 South by Southwest (SXSW) keynote speaker on Unconscious Bias. Her session was one of the top ten searched sessions in the interactive festival that year. In addition, she was an Unconscious Bias panelist during the fifteenth annual National Diversity Council's conference where President Barack Obama and General Colin Powell gave keynote addresses.

Don't forget to register for the second part of this workshop here!
