The OH/KY Chapter of the Womens Jewelry Association is sponsoring an exciting educational, WJA "In the Know" event, "Social Media Marketing for Your Business”, Sunday April 28, 2019 from noon to 5pm.

We are offering an afternoon for our members and guests to gain the latest knowledge in the marketing and social media best practices from this exciting seminar! We will experience an intimate business seminar, network, enjoying time together, and developing relationships within our Chapter and with people in various walks of the jewelry industry.

We are very excited to present our four women speakers and their business affiliations:

- Emili Vesilind, Editor of JCK magazine, writes about news, tips, and best practices for and from retail jewelers.

- Hanna Becker, DiamondDoodles artist, jewelry blogger & Instagrammer.

- Ashleigh Lynn, Director of Traditional Media for Bottom Line Marketing, marketing

- Chelsea Meade, Honey Designs Jewelry, engagement designer, Instagrammer and blogger.

The seminar opens at noon with introductions in the Duveneck Media Room. By 12:30pm, the first half of the seminar will begin with our speakers presenting in a panel format: Their history in the jewelry field including their expertise relating to marketing and social media, and their success and expectations of the effects of social media in the future. Each speaker will address the huge demand for direct knowledge of many current social media platforms for business awareness, promotion, and sales.

After a short break, about 2:30pm to 3pm, the second half of the seminar will be devoted to small group Q & A breakout sessions, where attendees can interact directly with each presenter, in a rotating format. There will be a variety of snacks and drinks provided throughout the program.

After the Event, all are invited to walk to a local restaurant for a self purchased dinner, spending time together to increase relationships, network, and socialize with attendees about the day. This will be quite a unique, educational opportunity for all!
