Artist Marianne Hunter extends an exclusive invitation to visit her Rancho Palos Verdes design studio.
She is finalist award winner of the American Jewelry Design Council's "Jose Hess Design Award" for her stunning work above, titled Celestial Symphonies.
During our visit, we will have the rare opportunity to intimately learn about her unique process from inspiration to development, explore new designs in addition to finished works, and yes - experience an actual firing. Marianne looks forward to an interactive event, and welcomes open Q&A after the special "artist's cut" video presentation revealing works in detail.
Self-taught, Marianne masterfully renders enamel, metal, and gems in a singular artistic vision and language to tell symphonic stories within each jewelry piece. Creating art in layered counterpoint and variation, she enlightens, "the image in enamel is the melodic theme, underscored and embellished by finely detailed fabricated metalwork."
