Join Us to Master the Art of Hand-knotting Pearls with local jewelry artist Mandi Wirtanen of Mandalynn Jewelry Designs at her new studio in the Brazee Barn at Brazee Street Studios in the heart of Oakley.
Your ticket includes Hand-knotting instruction, and a kit including: silk cord, clam shells/or bead tips, a basic sterling silver clasp and use of classroom tools.
Pearl strands are NOT included in the kit. Bring your own pearl strand or Mandi will have an assortment of Pearl strands to purchase day of class starting from $25-$100. She will also have upgraded clasp options like 14k Gold Filled to purchase day of class.
Light snacks/drinks and Mimosa Bar will be available!!!
Did you know as a WJA member you have an opportunity to become a certified cultured pearl specialist for FREE!!! The "Pearls as One" course from The Cultured Pearl Association is free to all WJA members a value of ($599).
WJA Oh/Ky Chapter is offering each member who comes to the Pearl Knotting class to be entered into a raffle for a Pearl gift bag. All you need to do is show proof you have started the course, with a screen shot of the coursework or certificate.
