Behind the Scenes Studio Visit, with Gem Dealer and Lapidary, David Nassi GG, FGA

Join us on a visit to the gem studio of renowned lapidary artist, and colored gemstone dealer, David Nassi.

David Nassi entered the family business as a 3rd generation gem dealer. After an apprenticeship with one of the finest lapidaries in the world, David began cutting and polishing some of the most important stones in circulation. During this time, he attained his Graduate Gemmologist from G.I.A., and Diploma from The Gemological Association of Great Britain. Moving the business forward, he founded 100% Natural, LTD. to offer superb untreated gemstones, filling a niche in the market.

David has worked on incredible material in his years of lapidary artistry, including several record-breaking stones at some of the largest auction houses around the world. His work has been featured at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and The Smithsonian Museum in Washington D.C., where an extremely rare jewel which he cut is permanently displayed.

Now boasting over 20 years of experience in the gem industry, this multihyphenate has become a regular at the Spectrum Awards winner’s circle, recently winning Best in Show two years in a row, amongst other accolades over the last decade. Join us in-person, at his Diamond District studio to learn the stories behind the gems.
